What is MobileRoam service?

MobileRoam service is a VoIP and Data Service provided by Netpluz Asia that allows you to access the Internet and call to more than 150 countries and receive calls without incurring any roaming charges while in overseas.

What do I get when I subscribe to the MobileRoam Service?

You will get a portable router for you to access the Internet. You will also receive your Call Account details, i.e. username and password and a Level 3 number.

How do I use the MobileRoam service?

Before accessing the Internet, you will pair your phone to the portable router. Once it is paired up, you can access the Internet using your phone.

To make use of the voice service in MobileRoam, you will install the free MobileRoam App from AppStore or PlayStore. For the first time, you have to enter your username and password in the MobileRoam App to use it.  

MobileRoam App allows you to make and receive a call, provided you have a data connection, for example, WiFi or 4G connection or using the portable router. Whenever your Level 3 number is called, you can answer the call on your MobileRoam App.

What are the benefits of using the MobileRoam service?

You can access to the Internet in any countries without incurring any data roaming charges.

When you make a call or receive a call while overseas, you do not incur any  Roaming Charges by your Telco.

MobileRoam service allows you to mask your caller ID. You can choose to display your Mobile Number or your Level 3 number to the receiver of the call.

When there is a Miss Call, a Miss call notification will be sent to your email address.

When I travel to an overseas country, I would like to be still contacted by my mobile number. Can MobileRoam support this?

Yes. You can set your phone call forward to the Level 3 number. When you are in overseas, and someone calls your mobile number, your MobileRoam App will ring.

Do I have to purchase voice SIM cards of the country I travel to in order to use MobileRoam service?

No. There is no need to purchase any voice SIM card.

Once your phone is connected to the portable Router, Wifi or 4G, you can make a call using the MobileRoam Application.

Can I use MobileRoam service in China?

You can use access to the Internet, i.e. access Gmail, Google, Facebook in China and make a call using the MobileRoam Application using the portable router.

How can I view my call history?

Call history is provided in your MobileRoam App. It will show the date and time of the call and the destination number called.
